About the Journal

1. Principles and Objectives

- Established in 1972, the State and Law Review is the official publication of the Institute of State and Law, under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, serving as a forum for scholars and practitioners engaged in theory and practice in the fields of state and law.

- The State and Law Review publishes research works in the field of state and law with the aim of providing scientific arguments for the formulation of the Party’s and the State’s orientations, policies, and legislation; disseminating and spreading legal knowledge; promoting the development of the sciences of state and law; introducing domestic and international experiences; facilitating scientific exchange, commentary, and critique on theoretical and practical issues in the field of state and law; and safeguarding the Party’s ideology in this domain.

- The Journal is published monthly with one issue per month, 84 pages per issue, and is widely distributed nationwide through the Central Press Distribution Company, serving a broad readership both domestically and internationally. The electronic version of the Journal will be made available on digital platforms no later than three months after the print issue is published.

2. Target Audience

Experts and scholars; policymakers and elected representatives; practitioners in legal institutions; lecturers, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students in law, political science, and public administration; businesses, social organizations, and readers interested in research on state and law.
