Abstract

In the specific political conditions of Vietnam, where there is only oneruling party, the Communist Party of Vietnam, and most cadres and civil servants areparty members, the relationship between party discipline and administrative disciplinerequires careful examination to ensure compatibility between regulations on discipliningParty members and regulations on disciplining cadres and civil servants. Within thescope of this article, the authors will analyze the extent of compatibility andsynchronisation between the regulations on principles and statutes of limitationsapplicable to disciplinary measures against Party members and those applicable tocadres and civil servants, and at the same time identify certain shortcomings andpropose recommendations for improvement.Keywords: Disciplinary measures; cadres; civil servants; Party members
