Abstract

This article provides a systematic analysis of legislative thinking in thecountry’s new context. It clarifies the concept, constituent elements, characteristics,and substantive scope of legal thinking; the content, context, and key requirements forrenewing legal thinking; the current state of legislative thinking in Viet Nam;international experiences in renewing legislative thinking and lessons for Viet Nam;and, finally, the perspectives, objectives, tasks, and solutions for renewing legislativethinking in the country’s new development era.Keywords: New development era; Legislative thinking; Renewal of legislativethinking.
