Abstract

This article examines the international legal framework governing therights of transgender persons, focusing on international treaties and other relevanthuman rights instruments. It then highlights the urgent need to ensure transgender rightsunder international human rights law and discusses how these obligations relate tocurrent practices in Vietnam.
