Abstract

The article analyses the inadequacies of the current legislation regardingthe supervisory activities of the Ethnic Council and the Committees of the NationalAssembly of Vietnam across several dimensions: regulatory instruments, subjects ofsupervision, methods of supervision, and the competence of the Ethnic Council andNational Assembly Committees in reviewing the results of such supervision. Based onthese findings, the article puts forward recommendations to improve legal regulationsconcerning these matters.Keywords: Supervisory activities; the Ethnic Council; Committees of the NationalAssembly.
