Abstract

This article analyzes the current legal provisions concerning whichofficials are subject to votes of confidence in Vietnam’s National Assembly, as well asthe practical implementation of these provisions and the shortcomings that have arisen.Based on these findings, the article proposes that confidence votes in the NationalAssembly should focus on members of the Government in order to enhance theeffectiveness of this oversight mechanism.
