Abstract

During the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the development of cutting-edgetechnologies has significantly facilitated the dissemination of information andknowledge to the public. However, such advancement has also opened the floodgate forthe rampant infringement of copyrights and/or authorship rights, affecting the rights andinterests of relevant parties in intellectual property relationships. Protecting copyrightand authorship rights for Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based works is a novel and intricateissue for many countries in the world, whose legal regulations are absent or inadequateso as to comprehensively address the prevailing legal challenges. Drawing oninternational legal experiences will contribute to complete Vietnam’s legal corridorconcerning AI, which helps Vietnam catch up with the trend of integration anddevelopment.
