Abstract

With disputes involving numerous plaintiffs in different countries, theclass action mechanism (class action) can resolve certain issues, but it is still causing alot of controversy in Civil Law countries. The article will provide a general overview ofclass actions to analyze the provisions of Vietnamese law on the recognition andenforcement of foreign judgments and apply those provisions to the recognition andenforcement of judgments in class action lawsuits to evaluate the possibility ofrecognition and enforcement of such judgments.
